System Overview
How Does It Work?
Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 is a powerful cellular signal distribution solution. Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 is fundamentally
comprised of a Network Unit (NU) and up to six (6) Coverage Units (per NU). The Network Unit takes the donor
input from up to four (4) carrier signal sources. The signal source can be off-air (over-the-air (OTA)) from the
macro network, or delivered via a small cell.
The NU receives and individually processes channels from each carrier, allowing higher gain for weaker channels
(up to 100 dB). The channels are digitized and sent over a pair of Ethernet cables to each CU for retransmission
through one or more service antennas.
