Painting Gutter Warrior
LT
To paint Gutter Warrior
LT to
match the gutter, follow these
instructions.
1. Before installing, clean Gutter
Warrior
LT with a mild detergent
or dishwashing liquid. Rinse and
allow to thoroughly dry.
2. Before installing, select the
desired color of gutter coil touch-
up paint or other spray paint
intended for metal surfaces. No
priming is necessary. Spray only
the leading edge of the Gutter
Warrior
LT and allow to dry
according to label directions.
3. Install Gutter Warrior
LT as
directed.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging
the roof and other house components,
it is important to paint only the
front edge of Gutter Warrior
LT
BEFORE applying to the gutters.
Installing Gutter
Warrior
LT
1. Insert the back of Gutter Warrior
LT onto the back of the gutter.
(Fig. 1)
2. Press down hard on the front of
the Gutter Warrior
LT until you
hear it “click” into place. (Fig. 2)
3. Make sure that each section of
Gutter Warrior
LT overlaps
perfectly. (Fig. 3)
4. To install an outside corner, stop
the section of Gutter Warrior
LT
5-8" from the outside corner,
leaving a space to apply the gutter
sealant. (Fig. 4a)
To install an inside corner, stop
the section of Gutter Warrior
LT
5-8" from inside corners, leaving
a space to apply the gutter sealant.

5. Using an end-cap crimping tool,
pinch the back of the Gutter
Warrior
LT and the gutter every
3' to stabilize them. (Fig. 5)
6. Cut the Gutter Warrior
LT near
the end cap as shown to prevent
water overflow. (Fig. 6)
7. Insert the gutter under the drip
edge (flashing). (Fig. 7)
8. Screw the back of the Gutter
Warrior
LT and the gutter into
the fascia board every 24" using
the self-sealing screws. (Fig. 8)
Installing Gutter Warrior
LT
in Corners
1. Cut two sections of Gutter
Warrior
LT at 45º angles as
shown to create an overlap at the
corner. (Fig. 9)
2. Create an overlap at each square
end while keeping the built-in drip
edge. (Fig. 9, Detail A)
3. Remove the foldover from the
back of the Gutter Warrior
LT.

4. Fasten both cut sections over the
corner opening with screws.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
•Forinsidecornersandvalleys,
install a water diverter (ASDIV J0)
directly on the Gutter Warrior
LT.
•Downspoutsor3"x4" are
recommended in areas with conifer
(pine) trees.
•Theflowfromhigh-levelgutters
must be transferred within
downspouts directly into lower-
level gutters and sealed.
•ToinstallGutterWarrior
LT with
longer flashings (2" or more), skip
installation Steps 1 and 5, placing
both the flashing and the Gutter
Warrior
LT foldover inside the
gutter.
