Step One:

Measure back approximately 2-1/2” - 4” from the end of both

rails that will be used in the splice buckle as shown in

Illustration A.

Step Two:

Bend each rail back as shown in Illustration B and

Illustration C. NOTE: Bend the rail so the cut ends will be

between the rail and the buckle.

Step Three:

Insert the bent pieces of rail into the slots on the Splice

Buckle as shown in Illustration D. Once the rail is inserted,

slide the provided bent pins into place as shown in the

illustration.

Step Four:

Once the rails are in place, tension the rail to pull it tight. After

the rail is tensioned, check the pins to make sure they are

snugly in place.
