INTRODUCTION
The CentraLite ZIGBEE HA Appliance
Module uses the Zigbee Home Automa-
tion(HA) communication protocol to link
with other Zigbee HA devices. Each
Appliance Module acts as a router for
messages sent through the Zigbee net-

INSTALLATION
STEP 1
Attach the plug from the appliance to be
controlled into the receptacle of the
Appliance Module.
STEP 2
Attach Appliance Module to wall recepta-
cle. Secure using the locking tab at the
top of the module if necessary. Verify
that the receptacle is powered. If the
receptacle is powered by a wall switch,
the switch must be kept ON at all times.
STEP 3
To join the ZIGBEE HA Appliance Mod-
ule to a certified HA controller be sure
that the HA controller is open for joining.
If the Appliance Module has not been
joined to a network then press the Appli-
ance Module button. The Appliance
Module will then attempt to join an open
HA network.
Upon a successful joining of the Appli-
ance Module to a Zigbee HA network the
status LED will blink 2 times. When the
appliance module powers up after being
joined to a Zigbee HA network, it will

If the Appliance Module will not join a
Zigbee HA network then:
Make sure the Appliance Module is
powered up
Ensure the Appliance Module is
within RF range of a routing device
Make sure the target Zigbee net-
work is open for joining
STEP 4
Once the Appliance Module is joined to
the Zigbee HA network, use the certified
HA controller to configure the Appliance
STEP 5
If it becomes necessary to remove the
Appliance Module from a Zigbee HA
network then you must factory default the
Appliance Module. To factory default the
Appliance Module:
Remove the Appliance Module from the
wall receptacle
Press and hold the Appliance Module
button
Reinstall the Appliance Module into the
wall receptacle while holding the button
You will see the status LED turn ON
Once the LED is ON let go of the button
The Appliance Module will now be reset
to factory defaults and ready to join to a
Zigbee HA network.
