Slide Bases
These slide bases have
a single adjusting screw
and are suitable for the
majority of floor mounted
belt connected motor appli-
cations. These bases are not suitable for ceil-
ing or side wall installations, except for 140T
and 180T-Frame bases, which may be either
ceiling or side-wall mounted if the belt pull is
horizontal or upward from the motor shaft, and
the installation has no appreciable vibration.
Conversion Bases –
T to U Frame
The following bases provide an easy, inex-
pensive method of adapting the 1964 re-
rated standard motors to the 1952 standard
mountings. These bases make it possible to
mount standard T-Frame motors so that the
axial centerline will be identical and the end
of the shaft extension will be common with
the previous standard motor.

Drip Cover Kits
Drip cover kits can be installed by the user to horizontal steel frame dripproof motors in the
field. These kits cannot be used on cushion base motors, brake motors, terminal in-bracket
motors, motors with protectors, or 56 frame motors with a Z suffix.
