LIMITED FIVE (5) YEAR PARTS EXPRESS WARRANTY
All parts of the GDD, GDH, GUH and GUU Series Gas Furnaces are warranted to
be free from defects in workmanship and materials for normal residential use and
maintenance for ve (5) years from the date of purchase by the original consumer
for the original installation.The Limited Express Warranty applies only when the
furnace is installed per Heat Controller installation instructions and in accordance
with all local, state and national codes for normal residential use.
LIMITED SEVEN (7) YEAR EXTENDED EXPRESS WARRANTY
All parts are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for
an additional seven years (for a total of 12 years) from date of purchase to the
original consumer for the original residential installation when the furnace is properly
registered by the original consumer within 90 days of purchase. Without registration,
the warranty reverts to the ve year parts warranty above.
LIMITED HEAT EXCHANGER EXPRESS WARRANTY
90%+ Gas Furnaces: The Primary and Secondary Heat Exchangers are warranted
to be free from defects in workmanship and materials to the original owner for the
original residential installation for his/her lifetime. For any subsequent owner of the
residential property where the unit is installed, these Heat Exchangers are warranted
for 20 years from the date of the original furnace purchase.
80% Gas Furnaces: The Heat Exchanger is warranted to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for 20 years from the date of original purchase.
HEAT EXCHANGER FAILURE
If the heat exchanger fails within 12 years of the original date of purchase, Heat
Controller will replace the entire furnace. A Unit Change-Out labor fee of $300 will
be paid to the service company to replace the furnace. The owner is responsible for
any additional labor, freight or miscellaneous charges. Registration within 90 days
of purchase is required to qualify for this unit replacement warranty.
EXCEPTIONS
The Limited Express Warranty does not cover normal maintenance—Heat Controller
recommends that regular inspection/maintenance be performed as set forth in the
Owner’s Manual. Additionally, labor charges, transportation charges for replacement
parts, replacement of lters, and any other service calls/repairs are not covered
by this Limited Warranty. It also does not cover any portion or component of the
system that is not supplied by Heat Controller, regardless of the cause of failure of
such portion or component.
