FORMAT CARD
1 When FORMAT CARD is selected from the menu, the
screen on the left appears on the LCD monitor.
2 Move the arrow to OK with the +/– buttons. Press the OK
button to start formatting. “FORMATTING” appears on the
screen.
● The mode is canceled afterwards.
● No other operation can be performed while formatting.
◆ Formatting a card erases the existing data. Be
careful not to erase important data when
formatting a recorded card.
◆ When the write-protect adhesive seal is placed
on the card, the Card error mark on the control
panel blinks, and FORMAT CARD is not engaged.
◆ Formatting the card from the camera is
recommended for best results.
