IfthenetworkoperatorgivesyoutheInternetaccountandpassword,pleaseselectPPPoE(ADSL)
modeandfilltheaccountandpasswordinthebox,thenclickConfirmbuttontofinishthesetting.


1.6LANSetting: 
IPaddress:TheIPaddressofLANwiththegateway.Thefactorysettingis192.168.1.1.Youmay
changeitasperyourdemand.
IfyouhavechangedtheIPaddress,youmustuseanewIPaddresstologinthegatewayforWEB
interfaceconfiguration.Also,unlessthedefaultgatewayofallcomputerswithinLANissetasthe
newIPaddress,theywillnormallyaccesstheInternet.
Subnetmask:ThesubnetmaskofLANwiththegateway.Usually,itis255.255.255.0.
MACaddress:TheMACaddressofLANwiththegateway.Thevaluecannotbechanged.
DHCPServer:
StartingIPaddress:ThestartingIPaddressautomaticallyassignedbyDHCPServer,
EndingIPaddress:TheendingIPaddressautomaticallyassignedbyDHCPServer,
PreferredDNSserver:Option.FillitintheDNSServerofferedbythenetworkoperator.


OtherDNSserver:Option.IfthenetworkoperatorhasprovidedtwoDNSservers,pleasefillinthe
IPaddressofanotherDNSserver.
Defaultgateway:FillintheIPaddressofLANportthatis192.168.1.1bydefault.
Staticassignment:ReservethestaticIPaddressforthecomputerwiththeassignedMACaddress.

WirelessSetting:
1.BasicSettingofWifi 
Thewirelessnetworkswitch:Withtheswitchturnedoff,thewirelessnetworkcannotbeused.To
usethewirelessfunction,theoptionmustbeenabled.
Mode:Thewirelessoperationmodeforconfiguringthegatewayhave5optionsof11b/gmixed
mode,11bonly,11gonly,11b/g/nmixedmodeand11nonly(2.4G)etc.The11b/g/nmixedmode
isrecommended.
Networkname:Alterable.Itisusedtolabelthewirelessnetworkandindicatedinthelistof
wirelessnetworkslocatedbythewirelessnetworkadaptor.
Infavorofrecognition,it’srecommendedtochangeitintoothername.Thereareseveralsetting
options.
Broadcastnetworkname:Thegatewaywillstopbroadcastingitsownnetworknametothe
wirelesshost.Ifthereisarequestforwirelessconnection,youneedtomanuallyfillinthenetwork
name.
APisolation:TheisolationrelatestoeachwirelessstationofAP.
Frequency(channel):Thedatasignaltransmissionchannelthattakestheradiosignalasthemedia.
Theselectionscopeis1~14.
IfyouselectAuto,theAPwillautomaticallyselectabestchannelaccordingtothesurroundings. 
Channelbandwidth:Theoccupiedchannelbandwidthwhensettingthewirelessdata.Theoptions
are20Mor20M/40M.

