NOTICE
Temperature will affect engine oil and engine performance.
Change the type of engine oil used based on temperature
shown in the “Recommended Engine Oil Type” table.
Fuel Specifications
Gasoline
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 and
an ethanol content of 10% or less by volume. DO NOT USE E15 or
E85. DO NOT OVERFILL.

Propane (LPG)
– Use only an approved LPG cylinder equipped with an OPD
(overfilling prevention device) valve.
Natural Gas (NG)
– A dedicated NG fuel supply line with shut-off valve to the
generator is mandatory for proper operation. The gas supply
and pipe MUST be sized to maximum flow rating. Improper
pipe sizing is the number one cause for poor operating
performance such as hard starting or poor output power.

NOTICE
Consult your local fuel supplier and municipality for guidance
on proper local codes and installations. All piping must
comply with ANSI Z21.54/CSA 8.4 and related codes. Gas line
connections should be made by a certified plumber familiar
with local codes.
