RGB Baluns
The VideoEase
RGB Balun allows a
single red/green/blue
component video signal
to be transmitted via
unshielded twisted
pair (UTP) cable in a
point–to–point connection. The RGB balun eliminates
three coaxial cables, allowing RGB audio/video
equipment to be connected via space–efficient and
cost–effective Category 5 twisted pair cable. The
RGB balun works with RGB equipment that carries
the synchronisation pulses on one of the three color
signals (ie; sync on green). The RGB balun works
with LCD projectors, monitors, plasma screens,
matrix switchers, splitters, convertors and RGB
video equipment and comes with three separate
coaxial jumpers for ease of installation. Features:
Up to 2200' (670m) in color via Cat 5 UTP. Pair
required for use, sold individually.

Video Balun
The VideoEase™
Component Video
Balun allows a single component video signal (Y, Pb,
or Pr) to be transmitted via cost-effective unshielded
twisted pair (UTP) cable. Three balun pairs are
required for one complete component (YPbPr) video
connection. The product allows three coaxial cables
to be replaced by one Category 5 twisted pair cable,
allowing standard structured cabling techniques to be
used for neater and more streamlined cabling. The
component video balun is compact enough to allow
three units to be connected side by side on the back
of the component video equipment. Features and
benefits: •Supports one component of the YPbPr
video signal •Three balun pairs required per YPbPr
connection •Up to 1,000' (305m) via Cat 5 UTP
