Miscellaneous Commands
MXxxZ13y - Enable or disable front panel.
xx = unit ID number (00 – 15, default = 00)
y = 0 = disabled, 1 = enabled (default = 1)
Example: MX00Z130 - Set the front panel to be disabled (once this has been set,
only the output number can be changed using the front
panel.)
The response from the SVS-88 will be:
MX00-Front Panel is Disabled
Example: MX00Z13 - Return the status of the front panel (the following
example assumes y = 1.)
The response from the SVS-88 will be:
MX00-Front Panel is Enabled
MXxxZ21y - Select either verbose or “OK” acknowledgement messages.
xx = unit ID number (00 – 15, default = 00)
y = 0 = verbose, 1 = “MXxx-OK” (default = 0)
Example: MX00Z210 - Set the serial acknowledgements of the SVS-88 as
verbose (full text messages)
, when set to “OK”, status
messages and data requests will still return a verbose
response.
The response from the SVS-88 will be:
MX00-Response will be full
Example: MX00Z21 - Return the status of the serial acknowledgement type
from the SVS-88.
The response from the SVS-88 will be:
MX00-OK will be the response
MXxxZ06 - Return the product model number.
xx = unit ID number (00 – 15, default = 00)
Example: MX00Z06 - Return the product model number.
