6.8 Lighting
6.8.1 Insteon Lighting
This window lists all the lights in each room.
PLM Number
Make sure that you have a 6-digit PLM number at the top of the setup page. If you do not see the
PLM number at the top of this page, you will need to go to the Setup page, click [Event Log
], and
click the Detected Hardware
link.
Add Master
To add a new master light, click [ADD MASTER]
under the appropriate room. Enter a name for the
light, while avoiding the word “light” in the name. Please keep in mind that there is no max length,
but you can easily go over the number of letters that can fit on the touch screen. An average of 11-
12 letters is a good length.
