INSTRUCTIONS FOR CAM-BOLT & CAM-LOCK Tools Required CAM-LOCK CAM-BOLT INSERTING AND TIGHTENING CAM-BOLT X SHOULDER Place Cam-bolt on pre-drilled hole and screw in vertically Shoulder is flushed (on the same level) with the panel. Shoulder is above the panel. Place Cam-bolt on the designated pre-drilled holes on the panel. Use a Phillips Screwdriver to screw-in Cam-bolt vertically until shoulder is flushed (on the same level) with panel.
STEP 1 - INSTALL LEG (B) TO BOTTOM PANEL (A) a) Insert Wood Dowel (1) into the hole (without screw thread) on (B) and attach leg to bottom-side of (A). Use a mallet to tap in wood dowel if necessary b) Use Bolt (4A) fitted with Flat Washer (4B) to fasten leg to bottom panel. Use Allen Key (10) to drive (4A). Note: For illustrative purpose, Bottom Panel is shown flat down. It is easier to assemble the Legs with the Bottom Panel resting vertically on one of its long edge.
STEP 3 - INSTALL TOP PANEL (E) a) Lay Top Panel (E) bottom-side up on a material that does not scratch or damage the part, and screw in Cam-bolt (2A). Refer to Page 4 for instructions on inserting and tightening cam-bolt. b) Insert Wood Dowel (1) into the inner middle holes on top edge of side panels (C & D). c) Position Top Panel (E) right-side up and attach to (C & D) via cam-bolts and wood dowels. d) Insert Cam-lock (2B) into designated holes on (C & D) and turn clockwise to lock onto cam-bolt.
STEP 4 - INSTALL DOOR HARDWARE a) Affix Iron Clasp (6A) to Left and Right Door (F & G) using Flat Screw (6B). b) Use Flat Head Screw (7B) to fasten Door Wing of Hinge (7A) to (F & G). c) Use Round Head Bolt (8B) to fasten Knob (8A) to each door.
STEP 5 - INSTALL DOOR AND MAGNETIC LOCK a) Align drill holes on Panel Wing of Hinge on Left & Right Door (F & G) to pilot holes on the respective Left & Right Panel (C & D), and use Flat Head Screw (7B) to fasten Panel Wing. b) Affix Magnet Lock (5A) to the bottom-side of Top Panel (E) using Round Head Screw (5B).
STEP 6 - INSTALL SHELF a) Select desired the desired level for Shelf (H) and screw in Shelf Holder (12). b) Place Shelf (H) to sit on Shelf Holder (12).
STEP 7 - INSTALL BACK PANEL AND STRAP a) Place Back Panel (I) to fit on the Side, Top and Bottom Panels - check that Back Panel is spaced evenly within the 4 panels - and fasten with Round Head Screw (9) as shown. b) Use a Round Head Screw (9) fitted with Flat Washer (11B) to fasten Strap (11C) to center of Back Panel.
STEP 7 - FASTEN STRAP TO WALL NOTE: IN THIS STEP, BEFORE YOU DRILL A HOLE IN THE WALL ENSURE THAT THE LOCATION OF THE HOLE TO BE DRILLED IS FREE FROM HIDDEN ELECTRICAL WIRING, WATER, GAS OR OTHER UTILITY LINES AND CONDUIT. a) Drill a hole in the wall that would fit Anchor (11D) snugly and insert Anchor. b) Use Screw (11E) fitted with Washer (11A) to fasten the other/free end of Strap into the Anchor. Drill a hole on the wall (11E) (11A) (11E) The assembly of cabinet is complete.
