1.Beforebeginningtheinstallation,carefullyunpackandidentifyallparts,
referringtotheillustration(seeFIGURE1).
2.Turntheelectricalpowertotheinstallationpoint.
3.FastentheCROSSBARtotheOUTLETBOX,using(2)OUTLET
BOXSCREWS(notincluded).
4.Makethewiringconnections:UsingtheGROUNDSCREW,connectthe
HOUSEGROUNDWIREandtheFIXTUREGROUNDWIREtothe
CROSSBAR.Usingwireconnectors(notsupplied)connecttheHOUSE
WHITEWIREtotheFIXTUREWHITE(orRIBBED)WIRE(S);connectthe
HOUSEBLACK(orRED)WIREtotheFIXTUREBLACK(orSMOOTH)
WIRE(S).Makesurethattherearenoexposedwiresorstrandsandwrap
allconnectionswithapprovedelectricaltape.
5.CarefullytuckallwiringintotheOUTLETBOX,andpositiontheFIXTURE
BASEovertheMOUNTINGSTUDSontheCROSSBAR.Passthestuds
throughthe(2)MOUNTINGHOLESontheFIXTUREBASEandsecureto
wallwith(2)LOCKBALLS.
6.Installbulb.(Seefixturemarkingsand/orlabelsformaximumwattage.)
Completeinstallationofanyglassnecessary.
7.Restoreelectricalpowertotheinstallation.
