Introduction 2. Introduction Product Description The COLORdash™ Accent fixtures, whether RGB, UV, or VW, are small LED-based, DMX controllable, wash lights designed for indoor applications. Theses fixtures are equipped with high power, high luminance LEDs, and they consist of a small aluminum casing and a double-bracketed yoke that also serves as a floor stand.

Setup 3. Setup AC Power The fixtures in the COLORdash™ Accent Series have an auto-ranging power supply that can work with an input voltage range of 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. • Always connect these products to a protected circuit with an appropriate electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire. • Make sure that the line voltage is within the range specified in this manual or on the product’s sticker.
Setup Mounting Before mounting any of the fixtures in the COLORdash™ Accent Series, read and follow the safety recommendations indicated in the Safety Notes section (page 2 of this manual). Use at least one mounting point per product. Make sure the mounting clamp (such as CLP-15 from CHAUVET®) is capable of supporting the weight of the product. Operation 4. Operation Control Options You can set the start address of any of the fixtures in the COLORdash™ Accent Series in the 001–512 DMX range. This allows for the control of up to 56 fixtures in the 9channel STAGE 1 personality. Control Panel Description All the fixtures in the COLORdash™ Accent Series have a basic control panel, which consist of a single 12-switch dual in line package (DIP) switch module. Each of the individual switches has a number (DIP switch [1] through [12]).
Operation Programming It is possible to change the fixture’s various operation modes, DMX address, AUTO programs, or STATIC settings while the fixture is on. Always make sure that you have clear access to the DIP switches on the back of the fixture for easier fixture changes. Starting Address When any of the DMX modes is active as per the Operation Modes Table, you may select the fixture’s starting DMX address (1–512) by setting DIP switches [1] through [9] as per the table below.

Technical Information 5. Technical Information General Fixture Maintenance To maintain optimum performance and minimize wear, the user should clean the light fixtures frequently. Usage and environment are contributing factors in determining the cleaning frequency. As a rule, the user should clean the fixtures at least twice a month. Dust build up reduces light output performance and can cause overheating. This can lead to reduced light source life and increased mechanical wear.

Installation 3. Installation Alimentation secteur Les appareils de la gamme COLORdash™ Accent ont une alimentation électrique autoadaptable qui peut fonctionner sur un courant alternatif de 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz. Veillez à brancher ces produits à la bonne tension, indiquée dans les caractéristiques techniques de ce guide, le mode d'emploi ou sur l'étiquette du produit.
Installation Montage Avant de monter un quelconque appareil de la gamme COLORdash™ Accent, lisez et suivez les recommandations données en section Notes de sécurité (page 18 de ce mode d'emploi). Utilisez au moins un point de montage par produit. Veillez à ce que la pince de fixation (comme CLP-15 de CHAUVET®) puisse supporter le poids de l'unité. Cela permet de contrôler jusqu'à 56 appareils dans le mode STAGE 1 à 9 canaux. Description du panneau de commandes Tous les modèles de la gamme COLORdash™ Accent ont un panneau de commandes basique qui se compose d'un simple module de 12 mini-commutateurs DIP.
Fonctionnement Programmation Il est possible de changer le mode de fonctionnement, l'adresse DMX, les programmes automatiques ou les réglages statiques de l'appareil quand il est allumé. Veillez à toujours garder l'accès aux commutateurs DIP à l'arrière de l'appareil pour éviter les erreurs de réglage.

Informations Techniques Maintenance générale de l'appareil Pour maintenir des performances optimales et minimiser l'usure, les appareils d'éclairage doivent être fréquemment nettoyés. L'usage et l'environnement sont des facteurs déterminants pour la fréquence de nettoyage. En règle générale, les appareils doivent être nettoyés au moins deux fois par mois. L'accumulation de poussière réduit la production de lumière et peut causer une surchauffe.
