Notify the shipper immediately and retain packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the carton itself shows signs of mishandling.

3. SETUP AC Power This fixture is auto-ranging and runs on 100~240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power. To determine the power requirements for a particular fixture, see the label affixed to the back plate of the fixture or refer to the fixture’s specifications chart. A fixture’s listed current rating indicates its average current draw under normal conditions. Always connect the fixture to a switched circuit.
Mounting Orientation The Swarm™ 4 may be mounted in any position, provided there is adequate room for ventilation. Rigging Be sure that the structure can support the weight of the fixture. Please see the “Technical Specifications” section of this manual for a detailed weight listing. Mount the fixture securely. This may be done with a screw, nut and bolt, or a mounting clamp. The hole in each bracket is 13 mm in diameter. When rigging, consider routine maintenance and control panel access.
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Using the Control Panel Access control panel functions using the four buttons located directly underneath the LED display.
Operation DMX Operation This operating mode will allow for control with an external DMX controller. You must set the starting address for this mode. If this is your first time using DMX, then it is recommended that you refer to the “DMX Primer” section in the “Appendix” of this manual. Please see the instructions below for details on this mode. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Plug the fixture into power. Plug a DMX controller into the fixture in a daisy chain configuration.
Master/Slave Mode (Sound-Active, Automatic) This mode allows a single unit, the master, to operate in either automatic or sound-active mode. When additional (slave) fixtures are daisy chained to the master, they will all synchronize with the master and run the same lighting show. Please see the instructions below for details on this mode. 5. APPENDIX General Maintenance To maintain optimum performance and minimize wear, fixtures should be cleaned frequently. Usage and environment are contributing factors in determining cleaning frequency. As a general rule, fixtures should be cleaned at least twice a month. Dust build up reduces light output performance and can cause overheating. This can lead to reduction in the life of the light source and mechanical wear. Be sure to power off fixture before conducting maintenance.

INSTALACIÓN Corriente Alterna El Swarm™ 4 tiene una fuente de alimentación conmutable y puede funcionar con una tensión de entrada de 115 V 60 Hz o 230 V 50 Hz, dependiendo de la posición del conmutador de selección de tensión. Para determinar los requerimientos de alimentación (disyuntor, toma de alimentación y cableado), use el valor que aparece en la etiqueta fijada en el panel trasero del producto o consulte la tabla de especificaciones técnicas del producto.

3. CONFIGURATION Alimentation CA Le Swarm™ 4 est doté d'un interrupteur de sélection d'alimentation double lui permettant de fonctionner avec une tension d'entrée de 115 VCA, 60 Hz ou de 230 VCA, 50 Hz selon la position du commutateur de sélection de tension.
Montage Orientation Suspension Swarm™ 4 Avant d'installer cet appareil, lisez, assimilez et suivez les recommandations en matière de sécurité reprises dans la section Consignes de sécurité. Le Swarm™ 4 peut être monté dans n'importe quelle position, assurez-vous toutefois que la ventilation autour de l'appareil se fasse de manière adéquate.
4. INSTRUCTIONS DE FONCTIONNEMENT Utiliser le Panneau de Commande Pour accéder aux fonctions du panneau de commande, utilisez les quatre boutons situés sous l'écran LED.
Fonctionnement Fonctionnement DMX Ce mode de fonctionnement vous permet de commander l'unité au moyen d'un jeu d'orgues externe. Vous devez définir l'adresse de départ pour ce mode. Si vous utilisez le DMX pour la première fois, nous vous recommandons de lire l'"introduction au DMX" reprise dans l'annexe. Mode Maître/Esclave (automatique, musical) Ce mode permet à une unité unique, la maître, de fonctionner soit en mode automatique, soit en mode musical. Quand des unités supplémentaires (les esclaves) sont raccordées en chaîne à la maître, toutes les unités seront synchronisées avec la maître pour un jeu de lumière identique. 5. INFORMATIONS TECHNIQUES Entretien de L'appareil L'accumulation de poussière réduit la sortie de lumière et peut entraîner une surchauffe de l'appareil. La durée de vie de la source lumineuse peut s'en trouver réduite et le mécanisme usé. Pour un fonctionnement optimal et une usure minimisée, nettoyez l'appareil au moins deux fois par mois. Les conditions environnementales et d'utilisation peuvent exiger un nettoyage plus fréquent.
