4 - DC AND AC VOLTAGES
Connect the leads to the multimeter and connect in parallel to the
circuit to be tested.
When the order of magnitude is not known, place the switch on the
highest range then progressively lower to the appropriate range.
For the 1000 V rating : Do not perform measurements < 200 V
Do not perform measurements for
frequencies > 500 Hz
Analogue reading: to get the voltage in V, multiply the value read
on the appropriate scale by the reading coefficient shown in the
table.
Digital reading: if necessary, press the following keys:
- for the rms value (See in Ch.3)
- MAX for the maximum value
- HOLD to hold the value in memory
- for display backlighting
