threatenthecustomerinanyway.Alwaysdefertostorepoliciesandproceduresforresponding
tosystemalarms.Contactyourstoremanagerwithfurtherquestions.Itisalsoimportanttobe
consistentinthemannerinwhichalarmsituationsarehandled.
Ifthereisnoresponsetoalarms,shoplifterswillobservethisandreturntothe

andwipedowntheantennas.
2.Donotplaceliquidsinanareawheretheycouldspillandshortcircuitadeactivationunit.
3.CallCheckpointsServiceDepartmentbeforeinstallingnewcarpettoavoidcuttingthe
systemcable.
4.Turnthesystemoffifthereisremodelingorelectricalworkbeingdoneatyourstore.
Otherwise,thesystemmayalarmfornoapparentreason.
5.Donotdecoratethepedestalswithfoilorlights(i.e.Christmaslights).Thesewillinterfere
withthesystem.
