Operating Instructions Before First Use Before using the appliance for the first time, or following periods of prolonged storage, it is necessary to clean the appliance thoroughly. See the Cleaning section. Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the rating plate. Using your Coffee Grinder 1. Lift the Hopper Lid off the Hopper. Place the desired quantity of coffee beans into the Hopper, up to 80g. Replace the lid. 2.
Cleaning & Maintenance Cleaning 1. Turn Quantity Control Dial to Off and unplug the appliance. 2. Do not clean the appliance under running water and never immerse it in water. 3. To clean, wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and then with a dry one. 4. The Coffee Ground Bin and its lid may be washed in hot soapy water and then thoroughly dried. 5.
Helpful Hints • The Chefman Electric Burr Coffee Grinder is fully automatic. Select the correct grind for the brew process you plan on using the grinds for: espresso, automatic drip, or French press. There are 17 grind settings available. Rotate the Grind Control Wheel to higher numbers to select fine grind and to lower numbers for coarse grind, 17 being the finest and 1 being the coarsest.
