OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CLEANING THE KETTLE FOR FIRST USE Remove all packing and materials. Be sure that all parts are included before discarding any packaging. 7 1. Pull out the power cord from the compartment under the base, and place base on a flat surface. 2. Open the lid, then fill kettle with water to the MAX line. 3. lose the lid, and place the kettle back on the base unit, and plug into a C power outlet. 4.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS MAKING TEA 1. Remove tea infuser from kettle by grasping the handle of the tea infuser and pulling upwards. 2. dd fresh, cold water to the kettle, filling it at least to the MIN line but not A above the MAX line. Place kettle securely onto base and insert plug into an outlet. 3. Insert tea infuser into the kettle and ensure it is securely in place. 4. lip the power switch to "I" on position to initiate boiling.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. When needed, clean the kettle by removing the infuser and rinsing the inside with soapy water. Rise thoroughly before use. Due to minerals in water, deposits may form on the base of the kettle and cause discoloration. To remove mineral deposits on the bottom of the kettle: Combine 3 cups of water with 1 cup of distilled white vinegar and bring to a boil. Wipe the bottom of the kettle and rinse thoroughly before use.
