6.4.1 Set decimal symbol
To import reports to Excel ensure that the decimal sym bol used by Windows is set to "."
(period) and not "," (comma). To check that the decimal point is correct or to change it,
follow the directions below.
1. Open “Control Panel” through the Windows Start menu.
2. Select the "Region and Language" options.
3. When the Region and Language Options dialogue appears, click the “Formats” and
the “Numbers” tab and the dialogue will look as shown in figure 35 (only part of
the dialogue is shown).
