Set the selector to MAN, set will
keep in manual tuning mode until
you set the radio back to AUTO.
Press SET button for more than 2 sec-
onds to exit the SET UP menu.
Press the Rewind button to tune to
a lower frequency station.
Press the Forward button to tune to
a higher frequency station.
Automatically Storing Stations
You can automatically store 6 stron-
gest FM stations on the FM AST band
or 6 strongest AM stations on the AM
AST band. When you use auto-store,
the new stations replace any stations
previously stored in the FM AST band
or the AM AST band.
To automatically store a station to
memory, perform the following proce-
dure:
Press AST button on the radio face-
plate to activate auto-store.
When pressed, the set gives a beep
and then mutes the radio, the display
will be blinking.
When it has finished, you will hear a
beep followed by the station stored
on preset 1-6, and the display will
stop blinking.
In some areas, it may not be possible
to find 6 stations.
Preset Stations (1-6)
Six stations per band can be stored
and recalled using the preset buttons
(1 to 6).
Tune in to the desired station.
Press the desired preset button (1 to
6) for more than 2 seconds (till you
hear a beep) to store the current
station.
CD Player Operation
CD Play
Press CD button to enter the CD
player mode.
Radio displays:
Audio mode (if selected)
CD playing symbol
Current playing track number, played
time.
Scan Track
The scan function enables you to lis-
ten to the first 10 seconds of each
track.
Press SCN button to activate Scan
Track.
Press SCN button again to deactivate
Scan Track.
Previous / Next Track
Press Next/Previous Track button to
select the next / previous track.
CD player resumes to play mode af-
ter the selection is completed.
