when your vehicle turns or stops

injured. When you secure a child
restraint with a lap-shoulder belt,
always thread both the lap and
shoulder belt portions through a
locking clip.

when you are not using it with a
child restraint.
The safety belt will move freely again and
be ready to work for an adult or larger
child passenger.
