Please observe the following
procedures when towing a vehicle:
 No passenger should remain in
the vehicle being towed.
 Release the parking brake of the
towed vehicle and place the
transmission gear in neutral.
 Switch on the emergency
warning lights.
 Keep the speed limits.
Emergency towing
If it is not possible to have your
vehicle towed by a recovery vehicle,
procced as follows:
Front Towing Eye

The front towing eye is provided
under the front bumper. Remove air
dam of driver’s side and attach
towing eye. A driver must be in the
vehicle to steer it and operate the
brakes.
Towing in this manner may be done
only on hard-surfaced road for a
short distance and at low speeds.
Also the wheels, axles, drive train,
steering and brakes must be all in a
good condition.
Caution
If you tow the vehicle equipped
with the all wheel drive (AWD)
system while front or rear tyres
are rolling on the road, the drive
system in the vehicle could be
severely damaged.
Never tow your vehicle with the
front and rear tyres on the road.
