SAFETY INFORMATION
• Use only baeries and power adapters provided by the manufacturer. The use of unauthorized accessories may void your
warranty and may present a risk of re, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
• Do not remove the baery while the phone is charging.
• Avoid using the phone near electromagnec sources such as TVs, radios, and microwave ovens.
• Avoid dropping the phone or baery. Dropping these items, especially on a hard surface, can potenally cause damage.
• Unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet during lightning storms to avoid electric shock or re.
• Do not expose the phone or the baery to direct sunlight.
• Do not store your phone or the baery in temperatures higher than 60ºC or 140ºF.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or detergents to clean your phone.
• Do not handle the phone with wet hands while it is being charged. This may cause an electric shock or serious damage to the
phone.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR BATTERY USE
• Use only approved baeries provided by the manufacturer.
• Keep the baery dry and away from any liquid as this may cause a short circuit.
• Keep the baery away from metal objects as this may cause a short circuit.
• Do not place the baery near a heat source. Excessive heat can damage the phone or baery. High temperatures can cause the
baery to swell, leak or malfuncon.
• Do not use damaged or deformed baeries.
• If the baery emits a foul odor, disconnue use.
• Keep the baery away from babies and small children.
• If the baery leaks:
• Do not allow the leaking uid to come in contact with your skin, eyes or clothing. If already in contact, rinse with clean water
immediately and seek medical advice.
• Keep the baery away from re as this may cause the baery to explode.
• Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, shred or otherwise aempt to change the form of the baery.
• Do not aempt to open or service the baery yourself.
• Do not dispose of the baery in re or water.
• Recycle or dispose of used baeries according to the local regulaons.
NOTES FOR CHARGING YOUR PHONE’S BATTERY:
• Keep the baery near room temperature when charging it. Never expose baeries to temperatures below 0°C or 32°F, OR
above 45°C or 113°F when charging.
• New baeries are not fully charged and may take longer to charge.
• Baeries stored for a long me may take more me to charge.
ROAD AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY
• Turn o the phone in areas with a potenally explosive atmosphere or where ammable objects exist such as gas staons, fuel
depots, and chemical plants among others. Sparks from these areas could cause explosion or re and result in injury or even
death.
• Do not use hand-held phones while driving a vehicle. Use hands-free devices as an alternave.
SAFETY IN AIRCRAFT
Do not use the phone on board an aircra. The phone’s network signals may cause interference to the navigaon system. As a
safety measurement, it is against the law in most countries to use the phone on board an aircra.
