SAFETY INFORMATION
Use only baeries and power adapters provided by the manufacturer. The use of unauthorized accessories may void your
warranty and may present a risk of re, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
Do not remove the baery while the phone is charging.
Avoid using the phone near electromagnec sources such as TVs, radios, and microwave ovens.
Avoid dropping the phone or baery. Dropping these items, especially on a hard surface, can potenally cause damage.
Unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet during lightning storms to avoid electric shock or re.
Do not expose the phone or the baery to direct sunlight.
Do not store your phone or the baery in temperatures higher than 60ºC or 140ºF.
Do not use harsh chemicals or detergents to clean your phone.
Do not handle the phone with wet hands while it is being charged. This may cause an electric shock or serious damage to the
phone.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR BATTERY USE
Use only approved baeries provided by the manufacturer.
Keep the baery dry and away from any liquid as this may cause a short circuit.
Keep the baery away from metal objects as this may cause a short circuit.
Do not place the baery near a heat source. Excessive heat can damage the phone or baery. High temperatures can cause the
baery to swell, leak or malfuncon.
Do not use damaged or deformed baeries.
If the baery emits a foul odor, disconnue use.
Keep the baery away from babies and small children.
If the baery leaks:
Do not allow the leaking uid to come in contact with your skin, eyes or clothing. If already in contact, rinse with clean water
immediately and seek medical advice.
Keep the baery away from re as this may cause the baery to explode.
Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, shred or otherwise aempt to change the form of the baery.
Do not aempt to open or service the baery yourself.
Do not dispose of the baery in re or water.
Recycle or dispose of used baeries according to the local regulaons.
NOTES FOR CHARGING YOUR PHONE’S BATTERY:
Keep the baery near room temperature when charging it. Never expose baeries to temperatures below 0°C or 32°F, OR
above 45°C or 113°F when charging.
New baeries are not fully charged and may take longer to charge.
Baeries stored for a long me may take more me to charge.
ROAD AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY
Turn o the phone in areas with a potenally explosive atmosphere or where ammable objects exist such as gas staons, fuel
depots, and chemical plants among others. Sparks from these areas could cause explosion or re and result in injury or even
death.
Do not use hand-held phones while driving a vehicle. Use hands-free devices as an alternave.
SAFETY IN AIRCRAFT
Do not use the phone on board an aircra. The phone’s network signals may cause interference to the navigaon system. As a
safety measurement, it is against the law in most countries to use the phone on board an aircra.
