2. WARNING! When sanding a workpiece, always push and pull the Belt Sander over the workpiece with both hands firmly gripping the tool. Do not pass hands or fingers directly in front of, to the rear, or below the Sanding Belt (46). 3. Firmly grip the Belt Sander with both hands. Then, squeeze the Trigger (66) to turn on the tool. If desired, use the Switch Lock to run the Belt Sander in its continuous mode. 4.
Maintenance And Servicing 3. Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must be performed only by a qualified technician. BRUSH HOLDER COVER (28) To prevent serious injury from accidental operation: Turn the Trigger of the tool off and unplug the tool from its electrical outlet before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures. Troubleshooting Problem Tool will not start. Possible Causes 1. Cord not connected. 2. No power at outlet. Likely Solutions 1. Check that cord is plugged in. 2. Check power at outlet. If outlet is unpowered, turn off tool and check circuit breaker. If breaker is tripped, make sure circuit is right capacity for tool and circuit has no other loads. 3. Turn off tool and allow to cool. Press reset button on tool. 4. Have technician service tool. 3. Tool’s thermal reset breaker tripped (if equipped). 4.
