OPERATION
Properly Sharpened Bits

Center Point Cutting Edge
Trailing Edge
Your bit is properly sharpened when it
has the following characteristics.
A sharp point in the center of the bit.1.
Two sharp and equal cutting edges.2.
Two trailing edges that are slightly lower 3.
than the cutting edges.
Sharpening Procedure
1.

Select a clean bit to be sharpened and 2.
match its size with one of the holes in the
head.

Twist until

3. Put the bit into the appropriate hole and
twist until it locks into place. See Figure
2.

4. Lean the bit towards the number on the
outside of the hole. See Figure 3.
Turn the unit on while exerting a slight 5.
downward pressure onto the bit.
Turn unit off after about 5-10 seconds.6.
