TAS1 Hardware Accessory
The TAS1 hardware accessory is designed for use with Chief® CSPBPTA Backplane Accessory. See the specific installation instructions
provided with CSPBPTA for additional installation information.
Unpack carton and verify kit contents. If any listed parts are missing, immediately contact a Chief Customer Service representative.
WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO EQUIPMENT FALLING CAUSING SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT substitute hardware. Use only hardware supplied by manufacturer!
Installation Instructions
WARNING: OVER TIGHTENING OF SCREWS CAN DAMAGE PARTS AND CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT over tighten screws when installing interface brackets.
1. Mount TA500/501 enclosure box to wall following TA500/501 installation instructions.
2. Install four attachment brackets to inside of TA500/501 following TA500/501 installation instructions.
3. Use two 5/16-18 x 1 1/2" button head cap screws and two spacers along with Thinstall installation washers to attach CSPBPTA plate to
top two attachment brackets while also attaching top plate of Thinstall mount to two attachment brackets. (See Figure 1)
4. Slide Thinstall mount onto top plate as described in Thinstall mount installation instructions.
5. Use two 5/16-18 x 1 1/2" button head cap screws and two spacers along with Thinstall installation washers to attach bottom two attachment
brackets to bottom plate of Thinstall mount. (See Figure 1)
6. Attach CSPBPTA to two lower attachment brackets following TA500/501 and CSPBPTA installation instructions. Exact procedure will vary
depending on mount being installed.
