1. Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery.

2. Access the SIMLOCK as follows:

•For Models A & B: Locate the RAM & CPU bay cover and remove screws -

(the SIMLOCK is located at point ), then carefully (a fan and cable are

attached to the under side of the cover) lift up the bay cover. Carefully discon-

nect the fan cable , and remove the cover.

•For Model C: Locate the SIM card cover and loosen screw , and then remove

the SIM card cover .



Warning

Before you undertake

any installation proce-

dures, make sure that

you have turned off the

power, and disconnect-

ed all peripherals and

cables (including tele-

phone lines). It is advis-

able to also remove your

battery in order to pre-

vent accidentally turning

the machine on.
