Removing the Hard Disk in the Secondary HDD Bay (Model B Computers Only)
If you want to configure your hard disks in a RAID configuration then install iden-
tical drives in the primary (see page 6 - 4) and secondary hard disk bays as per the
instructions here. Follow the instructions in “Setting Up SATA RAID or AHCI
Modes” on page 7 - 60 for configuration details. Note a RAID configuration is only
supported by Model B computers.
1. Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery.
2. Locate the component bay cover and remove screws

3. Carefully remove the cover .

All hard disks in a RAID
should be identical (the
same size and brand) in
order to prevent unex-
pected system behavior.
