INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Before Using the Refrigerator • • • Remove the exterior and interior packing. Before connecting the refrigerator to a power source, let the unit stand upright for approximately 6 hours to mitigate the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from improper handling during transportation. Clean the interior surface with warm water using a soft cloth.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Temperature Control "OFF" shows a forced STOP and "7" shows the coldest temperature. Turn the knob from "1" position to "7" position, the temperature setting decreases continuously. Set the knob to "4" position in normal use. But it can be adjusted to the setting that best suits your needs. The marks on the knob are the temperature grades, not the exact number of the degrees of temperature. Defrosting The appliance isn’t frost free model and it need to manual defrost regularly.
Notes Please note different sections of refrigerator compartment may be warmer or cooler than others – typically the top back wall will be the coolest, the door rack will be the warmest. To avoid frost bite, please don’t put raw vegetables too close to the chill compartment. Large quantities of food stored in the appliance or directly in front of the air vent will hinder the cooling efficiency of the appliance as this can affect the airflow.
GENERAL CARE AND MAINTENANCE Cleaning the Refrigerator • Upon installation of your new appliance, it is recommended that it be cleaned thoroughly and properly maintained thereafter. • Turn off the refrigerator and then unplug the unit from the wall outlet. • Remove all food content before washing the inside with a damp cloth soaked in lukewarm water and dishwasher liquid. Don’t use any chemical detergent which might damage the fridge.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE Problem The fridge has no power The light is not working. Solution Power cord isn’t plugged in properly. The circuit breaker tripped or a blown fuse. Try a different power point. There is no light in freezer compartment, only fridge compartment has light. Make sure the power is connected to the unit. Compressor runs all the time Temperature inside the refrigerator is too warm. Temperature inside the refrigerator is too cold.
Bubbling or gurgling sound, like water boiling. Refrigerant (used to cool refrigerator) is circulating throughout the system. This is normal operation. Leaking water on the bottom of the fridge compartment The drain hole might be blocked by food particle, please clean hole and unblock it with a flexible metal wire. Check the refrigerator is on a level/even surface. Refrigerator rocks on the floor when it is moved slightly. Be sure floor can adequately support refrigerator.
