Using a stud nder attach bottom
section of True Plumb to a stud. If
base molding is over 1/4” thick the
bottom part of the True Plumb must
be mounted above base molding.
Note: When mounting to a concrete
wall use a 1/4” masonry bit and
expanders provided.

Use a level and mount the bottom
section with two screws provided.

- Next (this will probably take two
people) Screw in the white plastic
bolt “adapter “ into the bottom of the
U-joint. Hang plumb bob and gammon
reel from adaptor to help line top part
of the True Plumb with the bottom part
of True Plumb. Attach the top section
of the True Plumb to the wall so there
is at least 5 feet 2 inches between the
bottom of the U-joint and top of bot-
tom adjusting plate of the bottom sec-
tion. Level and mount with two screws
provided. Note: if you think you might
use it for GPS x height 2 meter rod
the distanst is 7 ft. between U-joint
and bottom plate.
