Connecting displays with RS232 cables
RS232 is used to communicate with a third–
party controller using serial commands.
Connect a serial cable between the controller
and the RS232 port on the electronic module.
Connecting displays with ethernet cables
In the Ethernet network configurations illustrated below, each display communicates with
neighboring displays within an array to achieve brightness and color uniformity across all displays
through ArraySync.
To add a display to an Ethernet network:
1. Using an Ethernet hub, connect a standard CAT5 Ethernet cable to the ETH2 connector on each
display.

Connect a standard CAT5 Ethernet cable between the ETH1 connector of the first display’s
electronic module and the ETH2 connector of the next display’s connector.
2. When Ethernet is connected it uses DHCP to acquire the IP address; however, the IP address
can be manually setup through the On Screen Display (OSD) or the Web User Interface
(WebUI).

• DVI-D Loopout and Ethernet daisy chain configurations support a maximum of 25 displays.
