The resulting panel displays the assigned WWPNs, as shown in
Figure 5-22.

e. Make a note of the WWPNs that are displayed (Figure 5-22), as they will
be needed shortly. If you want the adapter and storage to be visible after
the partition shutdown, save the configuration to a new profile and use the
new profile when starting up the partition.
On the Virtual I/O Server
Now log in to the Virtual I/O Server and map the Fibre Channel card to the virtual
Fibre Channel adapter.
13.Log in to the Virtual I/O Server and use the cfgdev command to configure the
virtual Fibre Channel server adapter. Use the lsdev command to ensure that
a vfchost device has been created:
$ lsdev -type adapter -virtual
