Changing logical volume names in volume group descriptor area.
Fixing LV control blocks...
Fixing file system superblocks...
Bootlist is set to the boot disk: hdisk8 blv=hd5
5. The output from the AIX lspv command shows that the disk volume now has
a pvid and is a member of the altinst_rootvg volume group:
# lspv
hdisk0 000fe4012a8f0920 rootvg
active
hdisk1 none None
hdisk2 000fe4012913f4bd None
hdisk3 none None
hdisk4 000fe401106cfc0c None
hdisk5 000fe4012b5361f2 None
hdisk6 none None
hdisk7 none None
hdisk8 000fe4017e0037d7 altinst_rootvg
6. Remove the SAN volume hdisk8 from the standalone system using the AIX
rmdev command:
# rmdev -dl hdisk8
hdisk8 deleted
Note: At this point you must re-zone and present the SAN disk that was the
target of the clone to the client logical partition. Instructions are not
provided here for this task.
