2.2 Projector Setup
Complete projector setup instructions are detailed in the projector user
manual. This section focuses on checking or adjusting settings with respect
to using the PowerTool software.
2.2.1 Connect the Projector(s) Serially
1. Connect a standard serial cable from the serial port on your computer to
the RS-232 In connector on the projector.
2. For multiple projectors, connect
the RS-232 Out connector of the
previously connected projector to the RS-232 In connector on the next
projector with another standard serial cable.
3. Repeat Step 2 for each projector in a
daisy chain fashion.
4. For each projector, set the projector’s baud
rate to 115,200. From the
projector keypad or remote press
MENU, 4 CONFIGURATION,
7 COMMUNICATION, 1 BAUDRATE FOR RS232
