Data Acceleration Settings
When connected to a Cingular GSM network, Cingular Communication
Manager can employ data compression and acceleration techniques to
enhance your connection speed. The settings in the Acceleration tab
configure the data acceleration used. For specific information, please click
on the part of the dialog that you are interested in.
Note: Data compression is only in effect when Cingular Communication
Manager is connected to a Cingular GSM network and has successfully
negotiated a session with the data acceleration server in the Cingular
network.
