Creating a Profile for a Wi-Fi Network

Follow these steps to create a Network Profile.

1. Open the Cingular Communication Manager. You will see the main

window.

2. Select Edit Connection Profiles from the Connections menu. The

Network Profile window

will now be displayed.

3. Click on the Wi-Fi heading in the list of profiles on the left side of the

window.

4. Click the Add button, to bring up the window below. This window

allows you to configure the Wi-Fi-specific settings in the network

profile. Click on a portion of the screen shot below for more

information on a particular item:

5. Click Next. The General Properties window appears.

6. Configure the settings in the General Properties window and then click

Finish.
