5.3 Reference Equipment for Type Approval
The Gemalto M2M reference setup submitted to type approve EXS82-W (including a special
approval adapter for the DSB75) is shown in the following figure
1
:

1. For RF performance tests a mini-SMT/U.FL to SMA adapter with attached 6dB coaxial attenuator is cho-
sen to connect the evaluation module directly to the GSM/GNSS test equipment instead of employing
the SMA antenna connectors on the EXS82-W-DSB75 adapter as shown in Figure 16. The following
products are recommended:
