5.1.3. WAN Configuration

There are 3 methods of obtaining IP from the WAN Port: Static IP Address, Dynamic IP

Address, and PPPoE.

1. Static IP Address: Manually specify the IP address of the WAN Port, which is applicable

for the network environment that the IP address cannot be obtained from WAN Port

automatically.

2. Dynamic IP Address: It is applicable for the network environment for the WAN Port that

can automatically obtain the IP address, such as the DHCP Server constructed in the

network of the WAN Port.
