REMOVE ITEMS FROM START SCREEN
The mobile computer relies on File Explorer to remove an application shortcut from
Start screen:
1) On Start screen, tap File Explorer
.
File Explorer opens.
2) Browse to My Device\Windows\StartMenu\Programs.
Programs folder opens. This is where all applications/bookmarks/file shortcuts are.
3) Tap & hold the shortcut to remove.
Context menu comes up.
4) Tap Delete.
The shortcut is removed from Start screen.
