Checking Basic Settings
Mismatched basic settings are the most common causes of lost connectivity with wireless clients. If the
access point does not communicate with client devices, check the following areas.
SSID
The wireless clients attempting to associate with the access point must use the same SSID as the access
point. The default SSID is tsunami for both the 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz radios.
Note The dual mode access point can support different SSIDs for the 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz radios.
