The following instructions are for the installation Ripwave Modem

that has a USB connection. Please read all instructions before

attempting the installation. It is advisable to turn off the computer

and the Ripwave Modem before performing the installation.

Note: The screenshots shown in these instructions were taken from

a laptop with Windows 2000. If you have a Windows 98SE, XP, or

ME operating system, the screens you see may vary from the

screens shown in the instructions.

Step Action Illustration (using LED Modem)

1. Connect the USB cable

to the USB port on the

computer.

2. Connect the other end of

the USB cable to the

back of the Ripwave

Modem.
