Understanding Feature Buttons and Menus
Press a feature button to open or close a feature menu.

Softkey labels area
Message - Hide
Displays softkey options and provides access to the Options list of
softkey features.
Displays the active navigation arrows for the menu or screen.

Your current options
Provides phone status or instructions

Main phone screen Displays four menu icons and Help
If you want to... Then...
Open a feature menu Use the Navigation button to press one of these arrows that open a menu:
(Directory)
(Line View)
(Settings)
(Services)
Scroll through a menu
or list
Press the Navigation button up or down.
Select a menu option Do one of these:
• Press the keypad number key for the item.
• Scroll to highlight the item, and then press the button (center of
the navigation button).
Go back one level in a
feature menu
Press Back.
Note
Pressing (red button) from any level of a menu closes the menu
and returns you to the main screen.
