While the AP 1600/2600 and the AP 3600 work well with CAT‐5e for new cable installations, Cisco
recommendsthatcustomersuseCAT6abecauseCAT6acableisrequiredbythe10GEstandard.
AntennaCableRecommendation

Keep antenna cable runs as short as possible. Cisco offers low loss (LL) and ultralow loss (ULL) cables, 
whichhavethesamecharacteristicsasTimesMicrowaveLMR‐400andLMR‐600.

