Warning Voltages that present a shock hazard may exist on Power over Ethernet (PoE) circuit s if
interconnectio ns are made using unins ulated expose d metal contac ts, conductors , or terminals .
Avoid using suc h int erconnect ion m ethods , unless the e xpose d metal parts are located withi n a
restricted access loca tion and users and service people w ho are authorize d within the restr icted
access location are made awar e of the hazard. A restricted access area can be accessed only
through the use of a special t ool, lock and key or oth er means of security .
