Statement 8003—Telecom Approvals Listing
If this equipment causes harm t o the telephone network , the telephone company will n otify you in
advance that temporary d iscont inuance of se rvice ma y be require d. If advance notice i s not practic al, the
telephone company will notify you as soon as possible. You will be advised of your right to file a
complaint with the FCC if you believe it is necessary.
The telephone company may make ch anges in its facilities, equipment, operations, or procedures that
might affect the operation of the equipment. If this happens, the telephone company will provide advance
notice in order for you to make th e necessary modifications to maintain uninterrupted service.
If you experience trouble with thi s equipment, pleas e contact Cisco Systems fo r repair and warranty
information. If the problem is causing harm to the telephone network, the telephone company might
request that you remove the equipment from the network until the problem is resolved. All repairs should
be handled by authorized Cisco S ystems service person nel.
We recommend that you install an AC surge arrestor in the AC outlet to w hich this device is connected.
This action will help to avoid damage to the equipment caused by local lightning strikes and other
electrical surges.
This equipment uses the Uniform Service Order Code (USOC) jacks that is described in Table 3.
