Creating and Activating a New CDMA Profile Using OTASP
To create and activate a new CDMA profile using Over-the-Air-Service-Provisioning (OTASP), perform
the steps in this section. This section contains the following subsections:
• Over the Air Service Provisioning
• SUMMARY STEPS
• DETAILED STEPS
Note To create and activate a profile, you must have an active CDMA wireless account.
Over the Air Service Provisioning
Over-the-Air Service Provisioning allows you to activate new wireless services over a wireless network.
It also allows carriers to add new types of services to a customer's handset by using the wireless network
instead of requiring the customer to bring a wireless device to a carrier's location for reprogramming.
SUMMARY STEPS
1. cellular cdma profile create
2. cellular cdma profile activate
3. cellular activate ota cdma | gsm
4. show cellular profile
DETAILED STEPS
Use the following commands to create and activate a new CDMA profile with OTASP:

Creates a new profile.
Step 2
cellular< slot/wic_slot/port >cdma profile activate

Activates the created profile.
Step 3
cellular< slot/wic_slot/port >activate ota cdma | gsm

phone number >
Initiates over the air activation using OTA/OTASP.
Step 4
show cellular< slot/wic_slot/port > profile
Verifies the profile data.
