This example shows how to display the temperature value, state, and the threshold values on a standalone
switch. Table 2-36 describes the temperature states in the command output.
Switch# show env temperature status

State Description
Green The switch temperature is in the normal operating range.
Yellow The temperature is in the warning range. You should check the external temperature
around the switch.
Red The temperature is in the critical range. The switch might not run properly if the
temperature is in this range.
