Desktop Installation
Caution If you place the Cisco MC3810
on a desktop, do not place anything that
weighs more than 10 pounds
(4.5 kilograms) on top of the chassis.
Caution Do not remove the rubber feet.
They provide a space for air circulation.
Rack-Mounting the Chassis
Step 1 Choose one of the methods shown in the
above figure, and attach the mounting
brackets as shown.
Note: Brackets are included. Screws are included
for attaching the brackets to the chassis, but not for
installing the chassis in a rack. You need four
additional screws to install the chassis in a rack.
Step 2 Install the chassis in the rack.
